Points System (new as of Fall 2014)
- Regulated by secretary; student club members will be awarded points for their involvement in the club
- Basics:
- 1 point for every meeting attended
- 1+ point(s) for every outreach/volunteer event attended depending on time commitment
- Points will go towards being awarded graduation regalia for Keramos members, and a raffle at the end of the year for both clubs
- Two standings: (minimum point values subject to change)
- Excellent Standing: minimum of 11 points per semester
- Student must attend at least 5 club meetings per semester (1 point per meeting, minimum of 5 points)
- Student must accumulate a minimum total of 6 points from attending and participating in club events (3 events)
- Good Standing: minimum of 9 points per semester
- Student must attend at least 5 club meetings per semester (1 point per meeting, minimum of 5 points)
- Student must accumulate a minimum total of 4 points from attending and participating in club events (2 event)
- Excellent Standing: minimum of 11 points per semester
- Officers will not automatically be given cords for being officers, they must do their job and be one of the most active club members, and they will receive cords depending on and appropriate for their level of involvement
- Club Meetings (1 point per meeting)
- For the points system and to have a list of student members, pass around a sign-in sheet at the beginning of each meeting
- Students who cannot attend club meetings must read meeting minutes on club cork-board and sign a sheet signifying they read it within 24 hours
- Liquid Nitrogen Break Stuff Night (2 points)
- E-Week (4 points for Egg Drop, +1 point per participation in each eWeek event)
- ENGR 102 Open House (2 points, +1 point for helping to do a demo)
- Valentine's Day Glass Flowers (2 points for making flowers, +1 point for selling)
- High School Outreach Visits and Events (3 points)
- MS&T/Mug Drop/Disc Golf Competitions (5 points)
- Materials Bowl (3 points)
- Industry Tours (3 points)
