For example, manipulating substances for specific properties. Are you able to volunteer to get your name in the door for graduate school? If yes is your answer, finding a professor to study under is your next step. Probably the biggest hurdle in obtaining this opportunity is overcoming your own nerves. Our department professors need eager and dedicated young students to work for them. Expressing your interest in their field is a great way to start up a conversation about this subject and do not forget to offer to volunteer!
